About Mrs. Petti:

 

Education:   B.A. in psychology and M.A.T. in English from Cornell U.

certification in elementary education from East Stroudsburg U. (PA)

 

Teaching:    Washington International School (20 years):

     grades 2 and 3; grades 1 - 5 Information Technology; grade 4 math

other local private schools: Sidwell Friends, Pinecrest, Eastern Ridge

 

Personal:    I am married with two grown sons and a daughter in college

(at Cornell U., where my husband and I met and where we have a second home in Ithaca, NY).  

I love visiting my two young grandsons in Pittsburgh, PA!

I play cello, piano, and ukelele, and I sing in a church choir.

I enjoy hiking, biking, and cross country skiing.

I like making craft projects (knitting, wood projects, nature crafts, math crafts).
